Managing Sites
Sites represent the physical locations where your security work takes place. A single customer can have multiple sites — think of a retail chain with stores across a region, or a corporate client with an office campus.
Adding a Site
Navigate to your customer's page.
Click the Sites tab.
Click Add Site and enter the site name and physical address.
Save the site.
Use a descriptive site name that your field team will recognize. For example, "Main Campus - Building A" is more helpful than just "Building A" when a customer has multiple locations.
Site Information
Each site record includes:
- Site name — A descriptive label for the location
- Address — The full physical address
- Associated projects — All projects linked to this site
Multi-Site Customers
Many security contractors work with customers who have multiple locations. LogicSite handles this naturally:
- Create one customer record for the client
- Add each physical location as a separate site
- Create projects under specific sites as the scope of work requires
This keeps your project list organized and makes it easy to see all the work happening at a particular location.
Best Practices
- Name sites by location — Use names that distinguish sites from each other, especially for multi-site customers
- Include full addresses — Complete addresses help field teams find the right location
- Associate sites before creating projects — Always create the site first, then create projects under it
